Industrial Exhaust Fans

These are propeller type and are used for general ventilation.
Exhaust fans are used to remove the heated air and fumes from ovens, workroom, kitchen etc and are also used for ventilating commercial buildings.

Exhaust fans are of two types :-
1) Light Duty Fans
2) Heavy Duty Fans

1) Light Duty Fans : It consists of totally enclosed single phase motor and the impellers are dynamically     balanced for trouble free operation. They are used in offices, cabins, kitchens, bathrooms etc.

2) Heavy Duty Fans (Ring Mounted) 12” to 48” : The fans are specifically designed for     industrial/Commercial use.

The body is constructed of a heavy mild steel, blades are broad. In order to discharge large volume of air for smooth operation.

Single phase/3 phase motors with condensers are fitted within the dome shape.

Diaphragm Mounted Fans :
In a propeller type fan the rings iun the diaphragm mounting arrangement are not supplied against resistance. Under free air flow condition the ring mounted fan gives maximum volumes.

Running of Exhaust Fans :
Ring mounted heavy duty fans are supplied for delivering air, either way, from or towards the motor. The air flow direction should be specified while ordering.

Special Propeller Fans are Special Use :
The fan is coated with chlorinated rubber or epoxy paints against chemical fumes. For heavy concentration of chemical fumes these fans are coated with Fibre Glass. In inflammable atmosphere the fans will have spark proof construction and motor will have flame proof type enclosure.
